Step-by-Step Guide to Booking Online Step 1: Search Options & Browse Event Details Click on the dropdown menus on our website to search by Headliners, Destinations, Experience Type or Travel Dates. Once you’ve selected your preferences, click Explore to view available cruises or tours. From the results, select View Details on events that interest you, then scroll down to see the full itinerary and what’s included in your experience. Step 2: Start the Booking Process & Choose Your Accommodation When you’re ready to reserve your spot, click Book Online in the upper right corner. Choose the number of travelers and rooms you’d like to book and then select Continue to move forward. Please note: once you begin the booking process, you’ll have 20 minutes to complete it before the cabins or rooms are returned to inventory. Select your preferred accommodation: For Cruises: Choose your cabin type and category. You can view details such as cabin location, amenities and dimensions before confirming your selection. For Tours: Choose your Star Accommodation Level and the departure city for each traveler. Please note that the pricing is based on double occupancy. A supplemental fee applies for single travelers. If you’d like to learn about our Room Share Program or have specific room requests, please contact our team by emailing info@inspirationtravel.com or calling 800 247 1899. When you’re ready, click Select, review your choice, then click Next to continue. We offer group flights out of selected departure cities for some events. If you prefer to purchase your own flights, select No Flights. Step 3: Log In or Continue as Guest & Enter Traveler Information You have three options for this step: Log in if you have an account. Create a new account. Continue as a guest for a quick checkout. Provide your full legal name exactly as it appears on your passport or REAL ID (you need a passport to travel internationally). Next, share your preferred name (if different from legal name) and add your email address, phone number and date of birth. Repeat these steps for each traveler in your party, including their relationship to the Primary Traveler (you). Once all the information is complete, click Continue. Step 4: Choose Payment Option & Make Payment After you’ve paid the required deposit, you can pay the remaining balance in one payment or pay it by the final billing date (call our office to make partial payments). Please note that if the final payment date has already passed when you book, you will only see the Pay in Full option listed. You can even split payments evenly among all guests in your cabin. Online Booking Bonus: When booking online, the first two travelers in your reservation save $50 each. Review the event’s Cancellation Policy for details on due dates and refund options, agree to the Terms and Conditions and click Make Payment. You’ll enter your payment information to finalize your booking and reserve your exceptional Christian cruise or tour experience. Once you’ve completed the process, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all your reservation details. Your Inspiration Christian cruise or tour is officially booked! Whether you’re headed on a cruise to Alaska or the Caribbean; or whether you’re planning to tour the Holy Land, with advice from these industry veterans, your journey is bound to be a smooth one. How much should I bring? Inevitably, the question of how many changes of clothes are needed for each trip comes up early-on. Those who try to pack a different pair of shoes for each day quickly find this creates heavier luggage and more of it. Here are some of our top executives’ thoughts on making wise packing decisions. “I always travel light! I want to be a self-sufficient traveler by making sure I can manage my own luggage,” shares Kelly. Ruth agrees. “Travel with only what you can manage on your own and plan to wear everything twice.” Stephanie offers a similar strategy. “Instead of packing an outfit for each day, pack multiple scarfs. These lightweight items change up an outfit so you can wear things at least two times.” While, surprisingly, the ladies seemed to take a restrained approach, President Steve Dick made no apologies for his more-is-more philosophy: “You have your light-packers? ...That’s not me. I’d rather have too many clothes than not enough. I pack for everything.” What about wrinkles? The men, who tend to wear button-down shirts and slacks had a lot to say on the matter. “My go-to wrinkle fix,” shares Michael, “is a mini hand steamer. It’s small, inexpensive and you can pick one up anywhere. Wrinkle release spray is also good—just make sure it’s in a 3.4 ounce container.” Steve, who is on the road every month of the year, has created his own very deliberate method. “I have a system for folding three or four of my dress shirts together as one. I bring the sleeves straight in (folding back the cuffs if they’re too long) and bringing the bottom half of the shirts up. This way, the creases are only near the waistband and under the arms. And I have them lightly starched at the dry cleaners. Once I arrive, I rub a damp cloth over any creases and they come right out. But if you’re not that much of a planner, the old steam-them-on-the-shower-rod trick works as well.” When it comes to wrinkles, Josh believes prevention is the best cure. “Arcteryx Skyline shirts are wrinkle resistant, always comfortable and breathe in humid weather. Get one...or seven!” Those who work with Josh can attest that he’s passing along this advice not because he’s being compensated to do so, but because he’s a true believer. He wears them almost every day! As for making the most of your suitcase space, John advises stuffing your shoes with socks. Not only does this save room, it keeps your shoes from getting flattened en route. Do I have to pay for my trip upfront, or can I make payments? At the onboard coffee shop, most of the small food items (pastries, cookies, etc.) are treated just like food at the buffet—they’re included with your cabin. Specialty cappuccino or espresso may cost extra. Coffee, French pastries and jam   6. Ice cream fans will have to pay for scoops and shakes from the specialty shops, but free soft-serve ice cream is available at other times elsewhere on the ship. I’ve heard from everyone who’s been that Alaska is one of the best destinations they’ve ever experienced. We’re also hoping to host a live fire cooking event, which I’m excited about. But what I’m looking forward to most are the excursions—getting off the ship and experiencing all that Alaska offers. In what ways does headlining this cruise differ from your regular tours? It’s completely different. I’m not just performing and leaving; I get to hang out with fans for the entire cruise. I love talking with and getting to know people. Many of the travelers coming have attended multiple concerts; I’ve seen them throughout the years. So it feels like a family when you board, and sharing experiences is what it’s all about. Can you share unexpected highlights from your previous Caribbean cruise? What I loved most was the chance to do new things. We had devotions in the morning, and Chef Paul Fields hosted live cooking demonstrations. We played three music sets. My favorite moments were the acoustic set in the middle of the cruise. I love sharing the stories behind the songs. We’re doing similar things on our upcoming Alaska cruise. What made you decide to host a cruise to the Caribbean and now to Alaska? It’s fun talking to people and hearing their stories of how songs affected them and what they have been through. I look forward to these events and the chance to explore the world. "Anytime you can mix music, travel and sharing Jesus with others, it creates a sense of connection." There was a big draw to try something different by hosting a cruise for fans. These cruises allow me to give back and spend more time with my fans. I wouldn’t be where I am without their support. What surprised you about your Caribbean cruise last year? The camaraderie on the cruise was awesome. Instead of feeling like a typical event where you feel on display, it felt like being among friends. There were so many genuine interactions that felt like a family gathering. The sense of belonging and ease was the prize and highlight of the trip. It felt like you were bumping into friends the whole time. How was your experience with Inspiration Travel, and why did you choose to travel with them again? Inspiration had everything down to the T. We didn’t have to worry about anything. There were no issues. I could go anywhere on the ship, talk to some folks, sit down with someone to have lunch and then go to the next thing. It felt like everyone was respectful: a group of friends and family. It was good! What was your favorite moment from the Caribbean cruise? It was in Puerto Rico. My wife and I are big foodies, and while looking for places to try, we found a restaurant months before the cruise. This restaurant was supposed to be the equivalent of a Michelin star restaurant, so we booked our reservation a month ahead. Our dinner at Marmalade was one of the best dinners I’ve had in a long time. For the opening dish, they served their famous white bean soup; I had never had anything like it. It was flavorful and delicious! Before leaving the restaurant, they give you the recipe for the soup. It’s not easy because so much goes into it. It was also one of the only times my wife and I got to do our own thing on the cruise. We still talk about it. What’s on your bucket list? A few years ago, my wife and I went to Europe and met three different couples from Australia that we’ve kept in touch with for the last six years. Australia is at the top of my bucket list to finally say yes to their invitations to visit. What inspires your songs? My day-to-day experiences inspire my songs, as do the seasons I am in and what I go through. It all plays into my writing. I also listen to stories and think about the audience I’m writing for: the people I know are coming to my shows and what they are searching for. Three things you can’t travel without? I always pack these three things: a black pair of jeans a black pair of boots a black T-shirt It’s funny because people see me in the same outfit. I have five or six pairs of the same jeans and black T-shirts. I also have two pairs of black boots because I don’t want to think about what to wear. People probably wonder, “Does he ever wash his clothes?” But I like to buy multiples of the same item when they fit well. It lets me pack for a tour and never have to do laundry on the road. When I come home, I throw my stuff in the laundry and repack. It’s easy! I try to switch up my look for each tour. Last tour, I had two outfits and wore them every night. I ordered three new pairs of jeans and three new T-shirts for this tour. That way, if we play three or four nights, I know what I will wear each night. It’s especially great if we play golf all day, but then I’m rushing to a meet-and-greet and only have 30 minutes to shower and throw on some clothes. I know what to wear without too many options. What would you say to someone on the fence about your cruise or another Christian cruise? For millions of believers who journey to Jerusalem each year, placing a handwritten prayer into the ancient stones of the Western Wall is a deeply emotional moment. As we look forward to another season of faith-based Holy Land tours, we’re revisiting one of the most asked questions from our travelers: What happens to all the prayers left in the Western Wall? Why the Western Wall matters to Christians and Jews The Western Wall, also called the Wailing Wall, the Kotel (in Hebrew) or simply “The Wall,” is the last remaining structure of the Second Temple, which was destroyed by Roman armies in A.D. 70. It is one of the most sacred sites in the world for Jews and Christians. For Jews, it’s a place of deep longing and connection to the presence of God. For Christians, it’s a tangible link to the world Jesus knew, just steps from where He taught, healed and walked with His disciples. According to Jewish tradition, God’s divine presence once filled the Temple and still rests on this wall. What happens to the prayer notes at the Western Wall? Special caretakers remove the prayer notes twice a year: in the spring before Passover and the fall before Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Under the direction of Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitch (the Wall’s official guardian), the caretakers use ritually prepared wooden sticks to gently remove the notes, even those tucked into the highest stones. The prayers are never read, out of reverence and privacy. They are gathered in sacred bundles and transported to Jerusalem’s Mount of Olives, where they are buried with the same reverence and process that is used for Torah scrolls or sacred texts. In Jewish law, anything bearing the name of God must never be destroyed. These prayers are treated accordingly, with solemn respect and care. As someone who has been taking teams to Israel on biblical study trips since 2008, I am often asked, “What’s your favorite place or biblical site in Israel?” This is somewhat of a difficult question to answer because discoveries are constantly being made in Israel, and the specific season of life I’m in when I’m there impacts how I experience the Holy Land in my own story and narrative. If I had to pick one place that means more to me and has ministered to me in deeply rich ways, it would be the Sea of Galilee. Throughout history, the Sea of Galilee has been known by a few other names—Lake Kinneret, Sea of Tiberias, Lake Ginosar and Gennesaret. The Hebrew word for sea is “yam” and means a “body of water.” When you go to the Sea of Galilee, you will immediately notice that it is a lake, much smaller than the Great Lakes in the United States. It is approximately 12-13 miles long and 7-8 miles wide. I will never forget the first sunset I saw on the Sea of Galilee. I captured it in a photo and framed it in my home; the image and memory are sealed in my heart forever. I love the Sea of Galilee because it’s the context of most of Jesus’ earthly life and ministry. Jesus was born in Bethlehem in the Judea region and raised in Nazareth in the Galilee region. Later, as a sage and rabbi of Israel, Jesus lived in Capernaum, a coastal city on the northwestern shore of the Sea of Galilee. This was His world. In obedience to the Torah, He would have traveled to Jerusalem with his family and disciples for the feasts and festivals. Still, He lived most of his rabbinic life in Galilee—around and on the Sea of Galilee. This was the landscape of His world 2,000 years ago. One of my favorite passages of Scripture that locates so much of Jesus’ ministry around the Sea of Galilee is Matthew 4:23-25. Jesus taught in synagogues around the Sea of Galilee in places like Capernaum and Chorazin, which are mentioned in the Bible. We might also imagine Him teaching in the synagogues at Magdala, Gamla and others. Here, He proclaimed the good news of the kingdom, healed sickness and disease, cast out demons, and restored people to wholeness. Being on or around the Sea of Galilee gives me a sense of getting to know Jesus in His first-century Jewish world. When I am there, I eat foods He would have eaten. I look up and see stars and constellations He would’ve seen 2,000 years ago when He looked up into the night sky. After years and years of taking teams to Israel, I am still moved by each and every sunrise and sunset on the Sea of Galilee. I look over the sea and imagine some of Jesus’ biblical stories ON the Sea of Galilee. The gospels capture many of these life-changing moments: Jesus sailed in boats with his disciples. Jesus taught and healed multiple people. Jesus calmed a storm. Jesus walked on these waters. Jesus invited Peter to walk on water with Him. Jesus called his first two disciples, Peter and Andrew, brothers and fishermen on the Sea of Galilee. Later, Jesus called another set of fishermen brothers to join him and follow him—James and John, who would later be nicknamed the “sons of thunder.” After Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection, He showed Himself as the crucified victor to his disciples at various times and places. John 21 is the last chapter of the fourth and final Gospel in the Bible. I love how it begins—a full-circle moment as He is back at the very place where He called His first disciples a few years before. “Afterward, Jesus appeared again to his disciples, by the Sea of Galilee” (John 21:1). John 21 tells the beautiful story of Jesus preparing breakfast on the shore for His disciples and His forever meaningful conversation with Peter—restoring him after Peter denied Jesus three times in Jerusalem. It is an incredible experience to visit and sit in these very places where these stories happened some 2,000 years ago. The Bible is the best and truest story ever told. The Sea of Galilee has always been a peaceful and wonderfully provoking place for me. It brings me great peace to embody some places where Jesus lived and ministered 2,000 years ago. It also provokes me to keep walking as a dedicated follower of Jesus in this world, in my world. We are still following and walking after Jesus, this Galilean rabbi and our Savior.

What a milestone moment for those who know what it is to have been touched by His saving grace! 5) Garden of Gethsemane Read: John 18:1; Mark 14:32-36; Luke 22:39-46 Enter into one of the most significant moments in Jesus’ life: the hours He spent praying before going to the cross for each of us. The events of that night are recorded in great detail, including His time in this garden with His disciples. The Prophet Zechariah mentions the Mount of Olives, and King David sought God here while fleeing from Saul. Jesus and His disciples often spent time here, as you will on your Christian tour of Israel. Christian travelers overlooking the city of Jerusalem One special distinction the Mount of Olives can claim is that of being the last place Jesus stood on the earth. It was from here that He ascended into Heaven while giving the Great Commission to His disciples of that day and today.
