FEATURING

The Sound
The Sound, a Dove Award-winning band, is known for their unique country-pop music. Comprising Levi, Jacob and Rob Mills, they've had four chart-topping songs since 2019 and five Dove nominations. Their latest album, God Is Real, won the Dove Award for Country Album of the Year. They aim to bring people to Jesus Christ through their creative and impactful music. Each member contributes uniquely to the band, with their roots in Detroit and the Great Smoky Mountains.

Mark Schultz
For Christian artist Mark Schultz, it’s never been about chasing dreams—it’s about following God’s call. That calling has led to two million albums sold, ten No. 1 singles, a Dove Award, and countless lives impacted by his music. If you’ve heard Christian radio in the last two decades, chances are you’ve sung along to one of his hits. But even successful artists sometimes step away from the spotlight. After six years, Mark is releasing a new full-length album—his first since embracing a different kind of calling: fatherhood. It’s a role that’s challenged and fulfilled him in ways even music couldn’t.

Alvin Slaughter
Dove-nominated gospel artist and worship leader Alvin Slaughter, based in New York, has shaped gospel music since leaving the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir in the early '90s. Renowned for blending gospel with contemporary Christian music into a distinctive style, Alvin is dedicated to transforming lives. They started at The Brooklyn Tabernacle when it was just a small, struggling congregation. Under their leadership, the church has grown immensely and now occupies a renovated theater in downtown Brooklyn, attracting thousands weekly. If you’re already thinking about what to bring, below is a checklist to get you started on what to pack for your exceptional travel experience. Remember to bring any medications you need in a carry-on bag.
Packing Checklist
- Casual clothes including pants, jeans, shorts, T-shirts, collared shirts or blouses
- Light sweater or jacket
- One nicer outfit for any special meals or occasions
- Light raincoat or compact umbrella
- Comfortable walking shoes or sandals with rubber soles
- Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen
- Toiletries, in a sealed, clear bag inside your luggage
- Minor First Aid care items such as Band-Aids, aspirin, hand sanitizer, etc.
- Medications in their original containers
- Hair care appliances (see information on Using Electronics)
- Small bag or backpack for port days; large enough to carry your camera and other personal items
- Passport or ID with a separate photocopy
Packing Tips
Make certain your suitcase closes and fastens securely. Mark your luggage and carry-on bag with your name and address so you can distinguish them easily. We also recommend you put identification information—name, address and phone number—INSIDE your luggage in case the luggage tags are lost in transit. We also suggest keeping your essential toiletries and a one-day change of clothes in your carry-on. Do not pack your passport or travel documents in your luggage. It is suggested that you keep a color copy of the information page of your passport inside your luggage if your passport or ID is lost.

We know how nice it is to have the convenience of home when traveling. Bringing your electronics and hair appliances can enhance your overall travel experience.
Many hotels provide hair dryers in each room. If you prefer to use your own hair appliances, you may consider purchasing or borrowing more travel-friendly appliances.
You may want to bring a travel adapter if traveling from outside North America. The power sockets in your hotel room are Type B, with a standard voltage of 120 V and a standard frequency of 60 Hz.
For more information, please call one of the Reservation Coordinators at 800 247 1899, Monday through Friday between 8:30am – 5:00pm, Pacific Time.
Transfers
We want to help make your trip as smooth and as enjoyable as possible. We can book motorcoach transfers from the airport to your hotel and on your return trip.
Hotel Stays
Remember that you always have the option of arriving earlier or staying later. Hotel reservations may be available if you want to arrive a few days early before your tour begins or stay a few days after the tour concludes.

As you plan for your upcoming Christian tour with Inspiration, you may wonder about using money and credit cards during your travels. We’ve made the following recommendations to help you save money and avoid unnecessary fees so you can focus on an exceptional travel experience.
- Consider leaving all unnecessary credit cards at home.
- Once you determine which cards you’ll bring, remember to notify each credit card company of your intended travel dates and locations to ensure fraud alerts and holds are not placed on your accounts.
- For each card, you should store the bank’s contact information in a separate, secure location in the unlikely event your wallet or purse is lost or stolen.
Almost all businesses accept credit or debit cards. Using your credit card for large purchases gives you more protection for the items you buy on your trip, and you can review your credit card statement to verify all your purchases.
When coming from outside the United States, we recommend checking the exchange rate before traveling. While most local banks will exchange currency for a fee, using a debit card to withdraw U.S. dollars from an ATM typically offers the best rate (in addition to an ATM fee). There are also traditional currency exchange stores like Travelex.
For more information, please call one of the Reservation Coordinators at 800 247 1899, Monday through Friday between 8:30am – 5:00pm, Pacific Time.
While you’re traveling with us, we want to make your time as carefree as possible by covering all tips and gratuities on your tour, including airport porters, hotel bellman and your tour guide. As you visit various restaurants apart from the tour, remember to acknowledge and reward excellent service.
The general guideline for restaurant service workers is 20% or more to acknowledge excellent service.
