Israel Travel Updates
June 2026
Good news from the Holy Land
As we continue to take Israel tours to the Holy Land, the news from the ground has never been more encouraging.
Our trusted partners at Sar-El Tours in Israel shared this update on June 17, 2026: There is growing hope that the current conflict is nearing its end. Diplomatic efforts are underway, and the region is moving toward stability.
We're praying for that breakthrough. We invite you to pray with us.
What we're seeing on the ground
Tourism in Israel never stopped, and it's been steadily returning to its usual pace. Life across most of the country has been operating normally for months: Schools are open and businesses are running. Hotels, restaurants and the sacred sites you've been longing to walk through are active and welcoming visitors.
Today, virtually the entire country is open for touring. Only a small number of sites along the northern border with Lebanon remain temporarily restricted, and those are expected to reopen soon.
Next month, more than 3,000 participants from around the world are expected to gather in Jerusalem with Sar-El Tours for the Peace of Jerusalem International Convention. The city is ready.
Airlines are returning
Ben Gurion Airport is fully operational, and international carriers are coming back this year:
- Air France—expected soon
- Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines and Eurowings—expected July
- Swiss International Air Lines—expected
- August Delta, United and Air Canada—expected this fall
Our commitment to you hasn't changed
Every Inspiration tour is evaluated carefully, guided by real-time updates from our partners and expert guides on the ground, U.S. State Department travel advisories and decades of experience prioritizing the safety of our travelers above everything else.
We don't move until it's right. And when we move, we're fully prepared, which is why we can’t wait for our upcoming 2026 and 2027 Israel tours.
Our goal is always the same: Create a safe tour experience so you can focus on why you came.

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem… Peace be within thy walls.”
—Psalm 122:6–7
We are closely monitoring recent developments in Israel following reports of heightened regional tensions. Early on June 13, 2025, Israeli officials confirmed a strategic military operation aimed at preventing future threats to national and regional stability. While the situation continues to evolve, we remain in direct contact with our trusted local partners and are receiving timely updates from experienced regional experts.
At Inspiration Travel, the safety and peace of mind of our travelers, staff, and ministry partners is always our top priority. We can confirm that there are currently no Inspiration travelers in Israel, and that we are maintaining close, real-time communication with our network on the ground.
As we have always done, we will continue to evaluate each tour with thoughtful care and caution. Our decisions are guided by the U.S. State Department’s official travel advisories, local intelligence, decisions by the airlines, and our decades of experience organizing tours through Israel with the highest standards of safety.
If you are currently booked on an upcoming Israel tour, there is nothing you need to do at this time. Should any updates become relevant to your tour, our team will reach out to you directly. Your peace of mind is important to us, and we are committed to keeping you informed every step of the way.
In times like these, we are reminded of the importance of prayer, community, and steady hope. We stand with you—and with the people of Israel—believing for peace, safety, and healing across the region. Thank you for your continued trust in us.
