Matt Armstrong is a songwriter and producer from Buffalo, New York, who moved to Nashville in 2003 to pursue a career in Christian music. His songs have been recorded by artists including Casting Crowns, Passion, Bethel Music, Jesus Culture, Ellie Holcomb, Zach Williams, Sanctus Real and Kristene DiMarco. In 2015, he earned his first No. 1 at Christian radio with Chris Tomlin’s “At the Cross (Love Ran Red).” His work has reached audiences worldwide and includes three RIAA Gold-certified singles: “At the Cross (Love Ran Red),” “Scars” by I Am They and “Confidence” by Sanctus Real.
