Some of my most memorable conversations have “just happened” in a little Russian Orthodox church in Sitka or while standing at the ship’s rail listening to the once-in-a-lifetime sound of a glacier “calving”. Bill and I have been sharing such evenings with beautiful people all over the world for more than fifty years...
At the glacier, everyone went out on the deck and sang How Great Thou Art. As it was ending, the glacier cracked, and a huge section fell into the water. Then a ray of sunshine broke through the skies. God was showing off! Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
